Almost there, but not quite

May 5th – an absurdly early start, which resulted in Cllr Rod Bluh and I trying not to wake the residents of Toothill up as we delivered early morning leaflets between 5 and 7am. I then voted at Ellendune, and managed a little breakfast before setting off on my travels. It was a fine day, [...]

Wednesday 4th May – nearly there, and am on automatic pilot. We have knocked thousands of doors, delivered thousands of leaflets and are now preparing for the rigours of election day. Somebody once said to me that there must be very little to do once the polls open. Not a bit of it. [...]
