To mark the 70th birthday of the NHS, South Swindon MP Robert Buckland will be visiting local health and care workers he has nominated for national awards on Tuesday 31st July.
Robert Buckland is one of the many MPs across England to nominate NHS staff he believes have made a major difference to local health and care services in the local area.
Over the past 70 years, the NHS has provided vital health care across the UK, this could not have been achieved without health and care nurses who devote their time to caring for others.
In order to show recognition for their hard work, Robert Buckland will be awarding the NHS70 Parliamentary Awards for the following roles:
- The Excellence in Cancer Care Award
- The Care and Compassion Award
- The Patient and Public Involvement Award
- The Lifetime Achievement Award
