Robert Buckland MP is calling for Gulf War Veterans to take advantage of free support and advice available in Swindon.
The Royal British Legion Pop-in, situated at 52-54 Regents Street, Swindon, has kindly allowed a Trustee and member of the National Gulf Veterans and Families Association (NGVFA) to be present in the Glastonbury Room from 14.00 to 16.00 hours on the second Tuesday of every month commencing 8th November 2016 to offer advice on any issues Gulf Veterans may have.
The NGVFA aims are to give support and advice to Veterans, Families, Widows, Widowers and contracted civilians involved in recent desert conflicts including Iraq 2003 and Afghanistan.
Wide ranging issues include mental and physical health, counselling and representation for war pension claims and tribunals.
In February 2016, the 25th Anniversary of the 1990-91 Gulf War was commemorated by those who served when a memorial to fallen comrades was unveiled at the National Arboretum.
Even now, twenty-five years on from the Gulf conflict there are likely to be Veterans who have concerns about their health and wellbeing.
If you are a 1990-91 Gulf Veteran or of one of the other Gulf conflicts and want a chat then please do drop in.
