Robert Buckland MP is calling for people to join him and help out with a charity bag pack at Waitrose in Swindon on Tuesday, 20th December.
The bag pack will help to raise funds for the Swindon Therapy Centre for Multiple Sclerosis. Robert Buckland MP commented: “The Swindon Therapy Centre for Multiple Sclerosis plays an invaluable role in the local community and is a lifeline for its many members and their families. I am looking forward to helping raise money for this fantastic local charity.
“As well as raising valuable funds, bag packing and store collections are an important way of raising awareness of the Centre.''
Sarah Heppenstall, Community Fundraiser for the group said: “Previous store collections and bag packs in and around Swindon have been very worthwhile and are a valuable source of income for our centre. They enable us to continue to offer support and valuable services to our members.
“Christmas is a busy time of the year and we need more volunteers to help out with this event.”
If you are available to help out with this event, please contact Sarah Heppenstall on 01793 481700.
