Robert Buckland MP is urging local charities, social enterprises, community groups and state funded schools and colleges to apply for an RBS Skills and Opportunities Fund.
The fund, which was launched last year as part of RBS’s commitment to making a difference in the communities they serve, has so far awarded £1.25million to people in the UK and Ireland.
Robert Buckland MP said: “With £2.5million available to help people get back into the workplace, or set up a business, this fund is definitely worth applying for.
“ RBS are keen to support as many people and organisations as possible. So even if your project isn’t shortlist, RBS may be able to help you in other ways. This might include offering skills and expertise to help you get your project off the ground in addition to a grant.”
